Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5
On tap at the brewery. Medium brown. Not much head. A bit of fudge and chocolate on the nose. The pinot barrel lends a touch of fruitiness though not much else...and it spent several months there. There’s a thinness to the base stout that I find makes it poorly suited for barrel aging.
