Golden brown colour with a thick head. Looks nice. Caramelly, slightly earthy nose. Sweetish, a touch worty in that fermented extract sort of way, which I’m assuming isn’t what they did. Maybe an extra bit of bittering hop would tidy that up. The malts are mostly caramel but with a touch of biscuit. It could use...more...in terms of just having a timid malt character but what’s there is pretty clean and decently complex.
