Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 18B adapted - low alcohol). Can 44 cl - Batch unknown (BB undeclared). AROMA: medium hop aroma with notes of grapefruit, ripe melon, pine. slight note of dried grass. medium-low to low sweet malt background. APPEARANCE: orangish color and slightly hazy. very thin white foam with very poor retention. TASTE: initial medium-low to low hop flavor (grapefruit, melon, dried grass) followed by a very high bitterness. low malt background with a slight toffee character. finishes dry with an harsh bitterness. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low to low body with very low carbonation. astringency from high bitterness. OVERALL: a low alcohol pale ale with ok hop notes (although starting to oxidize) but with an unbalanced bitterness.
