Bright copper colour. Aroma of tinned jalapeos. Tastes vegetal, vinegary, with light tinned jalapeo heat and a vague pale malt signature. Ok.

Pint at the brewery - clear copper pour - at its heart, this is a clean, moderately fruity Maibock, with a fairly rich malt base - spiciness from the chilis arrives through the middle and peaks at the finish - medium heat, not enough to overpower the base beer - still, this is not for anyone who doesn’t like spicy food - chili flavor is present but minimal - solid chili lager, but as with a lot of their other beers, I long to see a clean version of the base beer on tap, but their track record suggests that’s never going to happen.
