Poured from 375mL bottle (2016 vintage; 11% abv). Near black with small beige head. Underlying mild bourbon barrel, light molasses, very feint licorice, could use some more body, but it's okay. Held up decent despite its age.

Draught at the brewery
Black color, no head. It has some aroma of sour dark malts, good body strength, the flavor is a mix of roasted malts, dark caramel, molasses, light liquorice, roasted nuts, and the alcohol in the final is a bit rough but not boozy.
Unrefined but pleasant.

On tap at the brewery. Medium brown. Thin head. Fruity, molasses, light bitterness, touch of black malt. Slight acidity in the finish, more carbonation would help, maybe a touch drier in the finish.
