This one was muddy and dark brown. The overwhelming character was actually coffee, rather than cacoa and quite honestly I wouldn’t have known there was cacao in this. The coffee lent the beer some body, which was important for the mouthfeel because regular Bucking Black Sheep is too watery. It’s still just glossing over a disappointing beer, but I definitely thought this coffee cask was better.

Dark brown color, almost black, with creamy brownish head, served in the ugly mason jar. The aroma is pungent, penetrating, coffee and pine resins. Smooth mouthfeel, nice coffee flavor, roasty but not ashy, minty, with strong bitterness, quite resiny.
Very good, with edges.
