On tap at bier thirty. Pours out a hazy straw topped with a fluffy white head. Nose is belg yeast spice candy citrus and grass. Taste is as the nose with more of the spice and some chili peppers almost.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy blond color. There is a blend of three mild components: spicy yeast, citrus fruit, vegetables; maybe it’s reminiscent of Vietnamese food, but necessarily wanted in beer. The aroma is mild, but with more focus in the vegetables and cabbage. The final is more spicy and quite bitter, with light sourness.
A bit chaotic, not bad.

Hazy, very light tan, tart, alcohol, overly yeasty and not in a clean way. This beer is a poor man’s saison.
