Bridge's Red Ale has a strong crystal malt and roasted barley backbone with slight residual sweetness. It's easy on the hoppy bitterness with northwest-grown English varietals.

Reddish brown colour. Slightly caramelly aroma. Sweetish caramel palate, some roundness, soft, touch of earthiness and the body is good. Nice red. It’s definitely diacetyl, but really mellow and within context. But fair warning if you’re sensitive.

2014-01-03, cask at the brewery, dry-hopped with Mt Hood, 6-4-7-4-15=36
Dark amber color, hazy, with cask head. The aroma is appley, with a whiff of hop cabinet. It’s a bit colder than and English cask; dry mouthfeel, quite smooth; the mild malt aroma has a nice accent of fresh tobacco, lightly peppery; ordinary bitterness, a sugary hint in the final, and lingering fruitiness.
Really like this.

2014-01-03, draught at the brewery, 5-4-6-3-12=30
Mahogany color with small head. Mild aroma of caramel and crystal malt, a bit dusty. Served too cold; caramel flavor, dryish, with ordinary bitterness. Very light estery, fruity touch.
Very simple, but also very clean.
