29th March 2015: lunchtime pint in The Chequers, Walthamstow E17. Cask, hand-pulled: mahogany body a colourless wisp for a head (pity). Malty lead in both the nose and flavour: semi-sweet with bold fruitiness before the bitterness kicks in towards the finish.

On gravity at the Green Man, Bristol 26/09/10. Copper coloured with a slight, off-white head. Sweet, toffee aroma with plenty of citrus hop. Flavour started sweet before a contrasting citrus hop kick, which worked really well, and dry finish. Unusual and enjoyable.
