2012-01-13, draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, 6-5-7-4-14=36
Beautiful dark amber to brown color, with small creamy head. Mild aroma of caramel with light touch of grains. Correct body structure (Sticke, not Double Sticke), with quite good caramel and malt flavor, the cleanliness of German beers, a touch of grains; strong bitterness. Not vibrant, but good.
2012-01-12, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, as Red Truck Sticke 300 Double Alt, 6-5-7-3-14=35
Dark amber red color, with creamy head. Light caramel aroma. Caramel flavor, a bit dusty, with light residual sweetness, bold bitterness, and alcohol warmth; light cereals in the final. Not as vibrant as a real Alt, but not bad.

As Sticke 300 at Alibi Room. Dark amber with a thin head. Rich caramel aroma with light toast. The taste is mostly caramel with some light earthiness and light dark sugars. Not actually alt-like, more like an oversized amber but with decent balance.
