Dark brown with no head. Earthy, spicy, caramel and dark sugars and some spicy hops on the nose, although perhaps the total package isn’t as complex as all that. Tastes like spices, diacetyl and harsh spicy astringency in the finish, all the while being not that distinctive. A little strong (boozy) in the finish as well. It is okay, but not really top notch.
