Sample on tap at Vine Street. Hoppy honey sweet golden beer, dry hopped, graham and wheat. Damn good, insanely smooth for such a high ABV.

On tap. Pours with a really hazy, deep golden hue with a very lightly off-white head. Aromas are hoppy, herbal, citrus, grassy, melon and lightly dank. Some esters and light phenols. Flavors show a medium bitterness, fruity, estery, peppery, a bit of orange. Lively bubbles, dry, well hidden alcohol.

@ Vine Street. Relatively floral aroma with some alcohol, orchard fruits....complex if nothing else. Spicy, complex, herbal and floral hops, lots of malt. Sweet but not cloying. Pretty good brew - and I donβt usually trust these Belgian IPA concoctio

Tap at Southern Sun - a lovely belgian-inspired IIPA - it is hard to detect the belgian influence in the nose, but there is lovely, semi-sweet notes of orange and citrus preserves, with a bracing, earthy hop bitterness to temper it - despite the sweet nose, the flavor is rather dry, and the hops create less of a citrus character than they do a mellow white grape flavor - the belgian yeast adds subtle phenols that work with the bitterness of the hops, and add a kind of toastiness - the hops become herbal and almost minty in the finish - a faint touch of fusel alcohol in the finish as it warms is the only minor flaw - quite nice.
