On tap at the brewpub in Denver after GABF. Pours a near total black hue with a medium white head. A sweet fresh hop nose with chocolate. A big brew with char, chalk, bitter hops, dominant roast and chocolate. Pretty good.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours with a clear, garnet to near black hue with decent lace from the off-white head. Aromas are fruity, light citrus, roasty and grassy. Some esters. Flavors are citrusy, and roasty. Neutral balance between roast and hops. A bit watery, medium to lively bubbles. Dry finish.

Very dark brown. Fresh fruity hops on the nose. Light chocolate and mellow bitterness. A little bit funky. Not hoppy enough, despite the nice dry-hop aroma it isn’t there on the palate.
