473mL can. Pours clear pale gold with a white head. Pine, oily resins, and biscuit malt on the nose. Flavour has a nice and oily resin character, biting pine, some grapefruit peels. Big biscuit malt base and a crisp bitter finish. Great DIPA.

Bottle picked up at PDX, passing through. Medium, clear amber small ring of head. Aroma starts with some pungent hops before giving way to some leathery malts. Taste also starts with the hops, astringent and dank, but some solid malts bind the whole thing together. Lingering bitterness brings the palate back. Potent IPA.

Draft 12 oz pour at Hop and Hound. Glowing orange pour with a thin oily head. Orange fruit and spicy hops aroma. I love an IPA that fights in heavyweight ibu class. Orange and dusty hops. Juicy, with an appropriate bitterness that lingers. Ideal IIPA overall. Punches you good too.

Bottle from The Beer Junction
Hazy bright amber and copper color with generous compact head. Very nice aroma of pungent hops, Nelson Sauvin? Soft mouthfeel, a bit of caramel flavor and sweetness but not chewy; plenty of resiny hops, a bit orangey; more caramel in the end. I’d like more crackery malts, but this is also excellent.

Bottle - thanks Chris! Pours clear orange, large off-white head dissipates slowly leaving lots of residual foam and nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is in your face pine, dank forest floor, some passionfruit. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter, not harsh. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Not bad, but not top tier.

What do we have here, hmmm...a nice lookin’ DIPA from one of my favorite Oregon companies.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice hazy golden bronzed orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. The lacing was fairly light but carried a nice smooth glazing around the glass.
The smell started off with some grapefruit in front and then had a sharp spice that I can’t quite right place what exactly that is. I will say that there is a nice onion/garlic thing going on but to me, I like that. It really smells absolutely awesome.
The taste was slightly sweet and bitter and it carried over a nice spice from the garlic/onion I think I got.
On the palate, this one sat right at a medium on the body. I think I wanted to drink it, but found myself sipping it for the most part. ABV seems to be slightly deceiving however, the bitterness for a DIPA is there as it adequately pounds my tongue into submission.
Overall, wow, what a really nice DIPA, no flaws as this is one I super like for what it is and who it came from. I wish I could get it on a regular basis.
