The contrasting flavours of this IPA being spicy yet sweet is the best tribute we could have to the privileged yet tragic life of Charles Rolls, pioneering aviator and co-founder of Rolls Royce, who at only 32, was the first Briton to be killed in an aeronautical accident – right here in Southbourne, in 1910.

Cask at the brewpub. Hazy dark brown with an off white head. Aroma of fruity hops, citrus, grassy green hop notes, light pine, roast and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with very soft carbonation.
