FULL, ROASTY, SMOOTH.

Full flavoured, silkily smooth stout. Oats were often used in old English and Scottish brewing, now rarely seen. In this modern interpretation we’ve used oat malt to add body and smoothness. Modestly bitter for a clean finish.

One of three beers first brewed for the Bristol Shakespeare Festival 5-21 July 2013.

What’s in it?
Maris Otter, Oat, Black, Dark Crystal malts from Warminster Maltings.
Target (UK) whole hops from Charles Faram of Malvern.
