Ruby-chestnut colour. Bright. Rich nitro head of light brown. Very nutty aroma (hazelnuts, walnuts) with just a hint of hops (and even then mostly because I wanted there to be in a dry-hopped beer). The nitro mix seems partial as there is still some fizziness and body left. Bitter chocolate, slight hazelnut, pumpernickel notes on the palate. Refreshing, with a slightly sweet start but getting drier towards the end. Less (no) nitro and a proper (not 5C) serving temperature would allow the quality of the beer to shine through. With what they’re doing to the beer in between tank and glass, they might as well be serving it to me in a plastic cup.
