Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a hazy yellow color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, wheat and spices. Light body with flavors of zesty citrus, coriander, wheat and malt. The finish is fruity with a short sweet aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at ROB. Murky yellow-brown body, thin off-white head. I could have mistaken it for urine if the contents smelled differently. Tangy body with bready wheat and strong coriander notes. Sweet and estery.

Cloudy dark tan – the darker than normal colour comes from the use of red wheat. Huge aroma showing coriander, bubblegummy phenols, kaffir lime leaf, kumquats and biscuits. Slight fizziness is the biggest negative I could find – the flavour is lemon-limey (like that Stone Brewing beer from a couple years ago), and spicy in character. Nicely balanced. A lovely find at the Michigan Brewer’s Festival.
