Stout was first introduced by Guinness, as a stronger version of the humble Porter. This dry stout is low to medium bodied. The distinguishing feature being the use of roasted and black barley to produce a slightly roasted coffee-like trait. Low hop flavour and aroma.

Dark brown. Thinnish, light body. Accented towards coffee and sweet, slightly confectionary malt. Nothing doing.
