Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5
Reddish/orange-accented light brown. Caramel aroma. Really toasty palate - like roasted chestnuts. Long, with hints of smoke. Smokey brown bread finish. Thin body hurts, and does lack of hop presence or well-developed malt structure ...this brew really relies on toast and smoke to carry it and ultimately it's not enough.
