Growler from the brewery. Poured a decent brown with an average head. Roast malt and chocolate in the aroma, although a little weak. The flavor was similar to the aroma with a somewhat thin mouthfeel. Overall, it was a little disppointing.

A pretty good porter - nothing really sets it apart from the greats, but it holds its own somewhat with them (fullers, anchor, etc.) - mild chocolate and coffee presence - a little thin, but quite enjoyable.

Wood, toast, raisins and a hint of coffee. Dark brown with chestnut. Thinnish body - dry in the finish also slightly sour. One of those old-time entires, a throwback of sorts.
