Copper-brown; warming earthy malt aroma - fresh grains! The palate disappoints, however. It is so utterly nondescript - chewy, earthy malts that typify the style, but no nuance. Few hops. Some caramel/toffee development but you anticipate that before you drink it so really the beer offers nothing to surprise or engage the experienced beer lover. Vaguely sticky finish.
