[At GABF 2004] A clear yellow beer with a small disappearing white head. The aroma is hoppy and malty with a slight hint of alcohol. The flavor is primarily malty in the beginning, to end up with a dry hoppy end.

Brewed and sampled at Newark, DE location. Bronze, malty, very straightforward character with some light toast and caramel and late flowery hop.

Dark golden brown. Floral aroma. Modestly hopped with little malt presence, giving it a dry, medium-bodied mouthfeel. Its dryness was almost reminiscient of a dry red wine, although its not winey like the powerful beers of the world. Still, at the bottom of the glass I detected hints of grape at the front of the tongue - giving it more complexity than I at first thought - and after finishing it, I had the same buzz and aftertaste that I usually have after drinking a very dry cabernet.
