Pours crystal clear copper with lasting off white head. The aroma is light and mostly caramelized malts and almost no hops. The taste has a nice pine hop bitterness right up front followed by mild roasty malts. The whole experience kind of fades into the finish. The after taste has a mild hop bitterness that lingers for a while.

Deep amber coloured body with a perfect rich tan head. Absolutely beautiful! Aroma of metal, citrus, floral hops, caramel and a good bitterness. Medium-bodied; Light hoppy taste with a very mild malty flavour. Not much going on in the taste - fairly weak for the style. Aftertaste shows some metal and a little amount of hops, hardly any malt though. Overall, a decent IPA - not enough in it for me, but definitely worth trying as the first beer in Seattle! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Ravenna, Washington on 11-February-2007.

Bright bronze colour. Big amarillo nose with light caramel and toasty malts. Lean, citric body is kind of hard with minerals. Loads of brisk, refreshing Chinooky goodness. Typical for WA IPA, which means I can dig it.
