This ale poured a deep dark, amber colour with a creamy, tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include smoke, caramel, dark toast and molasses. First swig was quite thin with flavours of roasted malts, a little smoke and a little ripe fruit. Finish is burnt and smokey with light hop bitterness.
