Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
This porter poured a ultra creamy, black colour with a beautiful, creamy brown head. Nice lacing. Scents include light smoke, roasted malt, a little whiskey and a little hazelnut. First swig was nice and smooth with flavours of hazelnuts, coffee and dark cocoa. Finish is lightly burnt with coffee and minimal nut flavour lingering.
