Bottle from Koelschtrinker. I note that the label design has now changed and it state Indian Pale Ale rather than just IPA. Sweet fruity aroma with a touch of resin. Light brown. Opaque. Creamy off-white head. Medium-heavy bitter. Quinine over the top. Descends into a touch of stonefruit sourness. Malty caramel core. Spicy throughout. Boozy. Medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Dry astringent finish. I quite like this. Makes me think if an IPA produced by an oldschool British brewery - are Vulkan oldschool? - but with some oomph, the sort of beer that always seems to get classified as an ESB.

Bottle: Hazy, amber coloured, medium-sized and quite stable creamy off-white head, moderate bitter-sweet nose of dark malt and spicy, peppery hops; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and quite soft; lingering and dryish dark-malty and peppery finish with some sweet malt in the aftertaste. Chapeau! Far better than expected...

Clear medium amber colour, good frothy off-white head, dissipating slowly, heavy lacing. Aroma pale malt, lemon, orange, light hay, floral notes. Mild taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, citrusy, some lemon grass. Mild sweetbitter aftertaste, orange pith, fruity notes, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Fresh and well-balanced, quite good actually.

0,33 l bottle from our local Metro Markt. Pours out copper and a little bit unclear. More than one finger pale beige head. Intensive floral hop smell. Taste starts strong hopy, less but present hopy. Strong and increasing malty in the second row. Later some alcoholic elements and nuts. Below average carbonation. Long lasting bitterness in the aftertaste. Really nice one.
