500ml bottle from the brewery. Distinct Belgian yeast Aroma with a dubbel style dry metallic flavour mixed with paper and dried fruit. Subtle spice, light roast, silky mouth feel. Sharp finish, rye is upfront at the end with alot of roast, and light grass. Interesting beer..

This rye porter poured a deep black colour with a fizzy, brown head. Medium lacing. Scents include nail polish, a little smoke, a little cherries and coffee. First swig was quite thick and a little sweet. Flavours of smoke, coffee and molasses. Finish is slightly smokey with flavours of molasses, light coffee and cherry. Interesting, and complex.
