Pours almost black with a tan head. Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and a bit of smokiness.

Jet black, big brown head. Very very roasty, slightly sweet and fruity, with a touch of tang. Quite a heavy mouthfeel for the abv of the beer, and slightly oily. A surprisingly big beer for the specs, and I’m not sure the demo that would pick this up will enjoy this. This doesn’t seem like and entry craft stout. More of a complex dry, very roasty, Irish style stout.

This stout poured a deep black colour with a brown, creamy head. Scents include coffee, roasted malt and smoke. Nice lacing. First swig was a little thin but delicious none the less. Flavours of smoke and coffee with a little molasses. Finish is smokey and burnt with the same smoke flavours lingering.
