Bomber from the Amsterdam retail shop. Opaque black pour, large beige head. Big dark soy Aroma, sweet roast, cocoa and coffee with some light licorice. Silky mouth feel, light carb. Round robust malts, medium bitterness. Solid roasty finish, and light pine. Nice stuff.

This stout poured a deep black colour with a creamy, tanned coloured head. Little lacing. Scents include coffee, caramel and a little cocoa. First swig was nice and burnt with flavours of coffee, burnt toast and cocoa. Finish is nice and burnt with coffee flavour lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(On tap at Bar Hop BrewCo, Jan 10 2016) Pours nearly black with a moderate pale brown head and slight lace. Aroma of moderately sweet toffee and dark malts with a dry and dusty sort of roast, a little cacao and toasted nuts. Flavour also has that lightly sweet coffee/dark malt characteristic, semisweet chocolate, moderate but quite dry dusty roast, finish is softly bitter, dusty, dry and oddly refreshing. Quite clean really. Mouthfeel is silky smooth with fairly soft carbonation. Not a big beer but an eminently drinkable stout with nice balance of flavour.
