Dark brown pour with hints of red, with a very small white head. Lots of barrel in the aroma, but it’s not overpowering. There are also big sweet malt aroma with some brown sugar and roasted nuts. It’s quite earthy, but the hops are also present and slightly piney, with some dried hay. Medium to high bitterness with a sweet, earthy, woody finish, with some sweet malt, hints of vanilla and bourbon.

This Barley Wine poured a cloudy dark amber colour with a minimal head. Scents include whiskey barrels, vanilla, rum and smoke. First swig was creamy with low carbonation.
