If Hells is our studio album, all slick finish and crisp sounds, then Unfiltered Hells is our live album. We leave the yeast in for a full bodied beer that’s just that little bit louder, bigger and real, man.

On tap at Camden Beer Hall, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is a bit murky, with soft grassiness and bready malt. Flavour is clean, with soft bready malt, very mild herbaceous character. Not much going on here but it's clean and unobjectionable. Decent.

1/3 pint draught at Camden Beer Hall and Brewery. Decent white head over a hazy yellowish body, spotty lacing. Moderate smell of grass and soft malts. Taste of noble hops, hints of lemon, and pale malts. Quite refreshing to a drying malty-fruity ending. Satisfying. (Kentish Town, London 02.10.2023).

På Camden Beer Hall. Stråfarget. Litt uklar. Lavt tett skum. Forsiktig gressaroma. Smaken malt & mais. Tørr søtlig bitter avslutning.

Slightly cloudy yellow/golden pour. Aroma mainly malt/grain with a bit of citrus and yeast - taste fairly similar. Not bad.

Keg at the Outlook, Reading. Pale yellow-gold with a very faint haze, a thin white head and a light but prickly fizz. Buttery throughout with subtle hints of grass and lemon. Finishes with a bitterness which, while light, is still too assertive for the light flavours. This didn't work for me at all.

Keg at the Camden taproom. Pours fairly clear, yellow, lightly effervescent, with a pillowy white froth on top. Inviting crispy biscuits in the aroma, some hay and cereal. Light sweet flavour with nips of doughy biscuit, faint bitter straw, a lick of lemon rind, more cereal. Light bodied with delicate carbonation. Neat finish, with moderately sweet biscuits continuing, just enough bitterness. In the aftertaste there is a welcome grassy note. It’s a great helles.
