330ml bottle from Systembolaget e-beställning. Low bubbly, lacing layer at the top of a slightly unclear amber coloured body. Dried fruity aroma added by brown malts. Taste of dried fruit, almond, and caramel malts. Dry and sweet ending. Mostly masked alcohol. Near full bodied. Likable, but very little to keep all the sweetness at bay (shared with Finn at his place, Tromsø 27.05.2014).

Barley Wine ale zbyt alkoholowe w smaku, zapach za to przedni owocowy, biszkoptowe, w smaku jezyny karmel wino porto oraz wanillia. Finisz to alkoholowe cieplo i nieco za slodkawe. Bez osadu koloru bursztynu ciemnego z lekkim blaskiem czerwieni, piana srednio niewielka i szybko opadajaca.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ The Danish Summer Gathering, TSODRBSG13 ].Clear medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, dried fruit, caramel, malt, alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dried fruit, caramel, malty, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130831]

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours clear copper, thin white head. Aromas of caramel and toffee, some dried fruit. Taste is sweet and boozy. Oily texture. Long finish.
