Bottle shared on Level 42, 05/02/2018. Many thanks! A clear pale amber coloured pour with a halo of off white head. Aroma is rustic brown sugars, light must, toffee, light raisin. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, brown malts, toffee, earthy nutty bread, light jammy. Palate is medium sweet, airy, light must, lowish carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle shared in London a thanks to Dan. Pours clear orange with a small, creamy white head. So,e oxidation in the nose, ripe citrus, pale bread. Medium sweet flavour with more bread, marmalade, crackers, caramel. Medium bodied, oily, with soft carbonation. Lightly warming finish with some honey and caramel, more simple pale bread. Alright.

Bottle split at L42, thanks to Danny, 05/02/18. Rich amber with a decent light beige cap. Nose is stewed fruits, dates, brown sugar melt, toffee, fruit loaf. Taste comprises fruit loaf, light booze, toffee, prunes, dates, brown bread. Full bodied, fine carboantion, semi drying close. Mellow BW ... a trace of age ... no real detriment but lacks depth for the ABV,

Bottle at L42. Bottle thanks to Dan. It pours clear deep amber - brown with a small white head. The aroma is woody, varnish, sticky toffee, caramel, brown bread, fruit ale, grainy and some booze soaked cake. The taste is slick, oily, toffee, caramel, chewy malt, brown bread, warming alcohol, tannin, leather, grainy with a dry finish. Medium - full body, fine carbonation and oily mouth -feel. Not a huge amount of depth. Fine enough.
