Bottle. Almost black. Roast, vanilla and laurel in the aroma and flavor. Licorice. Malty sweet. Caramel. Tasty.

Sampled at NSBF Den Bosch. Opaque black color, medium sized medium dark brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, milk chocolate, nice cocoa bitter, malt bitter, bitter. Solid RIS.

8 4 8 4 16Draft at The Hague festival ‘18. Black with a beige head. Aroma of big coffee, chocolate, roast, licorice and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Earlier Rating: 1/26/2018 Total Score: 3.98 4 8 3 16 Bottle at Pint Winterbierfestival, Gouda ‘18. Black with a small beige head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, licorice, light coffee and caramel. Flavour is light heavy sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Grote Kerk, Week van het NL bier. Opaque dark brown with tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, coffee, sweet roasted coffee beans, nutty, chocolatey and berry coffee character, some heavily roasted marshmallows. Big sweet and bitter. Sweet and strong bitter deep roasted chocolate malts. Berry fruity notes, lovely dense chocolate notes. Tap at NBPF. Almost black with dark beige head. Coffee, roast, some blackberries, sweet malts, light herbs, toffee, green bell pepper. Over medium sweet and bitter. Almost full bodied. Nice.Earlier Rating: 1/21/2018 Total Score: 3.7Bottle at Winterbierfestival Gouda. Black with brown head. Roast, licorice, dried plums and blackberries, tea, ash. Quite some bitterness with a thick full bodied sweetness underneath, nice mouthfeel.

Black with thin head. Aroma and flavour have dark burnt malts and sweet liquorice. Also a little residual alcohol.

Gedronken tijdens Bierfestival in Den Bosch. Diep donkerbruin bier met beige schuim. Aroma van koffie. Smaak is koffie achtig en chocolade achtig

Geprobeerd met Inoven en Benzai op het Nederlands Speciaalbier festival in den Bosch. Het is een haast zwarte stout met een dun bruin schuim. Het heeft een gebrande geur. De smaak is gebrand, mout, en wat scherp. Lekker.

Bottle @ Winterbierfestival Gouda 2018. Pitch black color. Brown head. Aroma's: firm roast, coffee, light fruit. Retronasal it's sweetish, fruity, roast, coffee. Flavor is moderate sweet, roasted. Medium bodied. Long finish, roasted, quite bitter. Excellent!
