16oz can pours a murky black with a ring of beige head. Big molasses nose, chocolate, some booze, some cake notes, some port. Flavor is sweet, licorice, molasses, malt, some raisin, pepper. Spritzy finish. A little harsh.

Tall can. Black pour with a creamy mocha head. The aroma has alcohol, roasted malt coffee and chocolate. Big, complex sweet beer that follows the aroma. Warming. A bit less alcohol and a bit less sweetness needed.

Pour is a black with a large tan head. Aroma is a nice char but not much other than that. Flavor is again a chared and roasted malt but not much other than that. I would not call this bland but this is pretty straight forward for a impy stout. There is a decent roasted malt and the alcohol is hidden well but there is not much beyond that.
