Blend of stouts brewed with honey and aged in bourbon barrels.
Sending Vibrations is a blend orchestrated through the addition of meadow foam honey. An Oregonian apex honey, this meadow foam has the most incredible character of toasted marshmallow and vanilla creme brulee. Sending Vibrations is a collaboration with Cycle Brewing that highlights our love and shared experiences brewing with honey, the meadow foam varietal in particular. This beer presents a nose of dark chocolate, figgy vanilla, and caramel creams, all sealed in honey glaze. The finish has a whipped-like texture that finishes slightly dry and airy.
Blend:
Dozark (barrels #076, 078, 079, 082, 083) aged 11 months in Elijah Craig barrels
Axelrod (barrels #053, 001) aged 19 months in Willett barrels

Tap at SARA Water Street for the reopening. Pours opaque black, small beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is cocoa, deep roasted malt, vanilla, hint of marshmallows, bourbon, oak. Flavor is pretty sweet, light bitter. Really well integrated. Reminds me of DB parabola, but less hot. Medium body, low carbonation. 4,9,10,4,18
