500ml Bottle - Hazy copper with a foamy head. Caramel, raisins, sultanas and marzipan in the aroma. Fruity, tangy and slightly sweet taste with some earthy notes and hints of raisins, toffee, nuts and dried apricot.

Quite pale appearance for a quad. Aroma has apricot, some raisins and plums. Flavour is rather boozy and somewhat messy with plums, ripe fruits and apricot. Also some berries. Warming alcohol in the finish. Quite straightforward for this style.

Bottle 500ml vintage 2013 (WPBF)
Hazy amber-copper color, small white head. Alcohol, solvent, some malty notes in the nose. Medium-bodied. Also flavor is quite solvent-like with some candy sugar, peppery spices and malts. Feels raw and is way too alcoholic but I can see slight potential here.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ pre-TSODRBSG13 ], Ulfborg.Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, nutty, berry notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, caramel, sweet dried fruit, sugary sweet, licorice hop notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20130830]

Bottle at TSODRBSG 13. Amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma is alcohol, malt, yeast. Flavour is alcohol, fruit, malt, yeast, caramel, sugar. Full body. Nice beer.

Bottle. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty hoppy caramel aroma. Fruity malty spicy caramel yeasty flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty hoppy caramel finish.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 3 Oct 2013) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with dark fruit, roasted malt, crisp-bread and raisins. Malty, spicy taste with notes of rye bread, dried fruit, spices (cinnamon, nutmeg) and a fairly dry finish with a spicy bitterness. Full body, starts sweet, but dries out towards the end. Well balanced and tasty. Nice one.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in September 2013. Clear mahogany with a small head. Yeast, some fruit, caramel, dried fruit, hay and some alcohol. More hops than in a belgian equivalent. The finish was on the dry side.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Interesting aromas of lavender, grass and arctic raspberries. Mid sweet with full body and firm, rounded mouthfeel. Tobacco and caramel, salty with notes of marzipan. Cookies and kumquats show up before a finish with notable bitterness and some peppery heat.

500 ml bottle from SB cons 2013-09-01 Göteborg AR: grapes, pruns, dadels, roasted malt, brown farin AP: ruby clear, frothy thick crème beige head F: brown farin, warming feeling, prun, grapes, Madeira, dadels, high bitternes, woody rough feeling that isn’t that pleasant, finish is that complex trappist feeling that could be found in the high ABV quadruppels
