Dopplesticke, as its name implies, is a “doubled” version of the Sticke Alt. As “sticke” implies secret, this beer is a double secret strong bier! We employ a unique decoction process, known as an enhanced single decoction, that ensures a complex malt character, yet a high degree of fermentability for a drier beer than a traditional doppelbock.

Pours clear mahogany into a stem glass. Mocha head with excellent retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Sweet golden syrup, date and fig aromas. Soft with hot golden syrup and toasted raisin brown bread upfront turning to bitter, earthy pith and pine finish. A little hot.
