Nelson Sauvin, Strata, Motueka, Mosaic.

This DDH IPA bursts with tropical passionfruit, dank resin, zesty lime, and white grape notes. Motueka Hop Kief enhances the citrus, and floral complexities for a vibrant aromatic finish.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenny, 25/01/25.
Murky orange marmalade looky topped with a lasting frothy white head.
Nose is bitter orange, grass, light stone fruit, dank nip, airy malts, papaya.
Taste comprises orange zest, guava, melon, pineapple, mango flesh, light pine flicker.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with light juicy come grassy hop bitterness.
Tidy enough IPA but lacking the NZ hop bite I craved.

A medium haze on this orange tinted yellow beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Crisp pine and mild but persistently nibbly hop spice. Light crisp cooling pine. A nice broad smorgasbord of hop fruits here. Some impressive retrieval of Nelson grape and mild Strata passion fruit. A little Motueka lime and a very light touch of modern Mosaic candy fruits and blueberries on the light crisp finish. 3 or the 4 hops used here, I normally find faded in most beers I drink and, whilst none of them are punching like they once did, the fact that they are ALL recognisable in one beer in late 2024, I find particularly impressive. Interesting, engaging and very drinkable.
