This is our New Zealand Pilsner. We’re calling it “New Zealand Pilsner.” You might know by now that New Zealand has a pretty special place in our hearts. We love experimenting with the hops coming out of this wonderful place, and a New Zealand Pils was inevitable. This style is basically when you take a classic Pilsner recipe and use 100% NZ hops. We used Wai-Iti and Pacifica in this batch and are loving the way it came out. We get nice subtle notes of orange and stone fruit along with that classic NZ hop grassiness which pairs perfectly with the crackery Pilsner malt. It’s super crisp and refreshing and each little bubble of foam is like a tiny hop aroma packet.
