On tap: Deep amber to black coloured, presumably hazy, smaller, slowly collapsing off-white head with a good lacework; light to moderate aromas of smoked ham, toasted malt and fruits in the nose, combined with a very light acidity; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium-bodied, a bit fizzy, too; slightly lingering "smoky"-toasty dry bitter finish. Good, but the brewer should make a trip to Bamberg to improve his product.....

Draught at the brewpub.
Dark amber coloured, medium sized off-white head that went away fast, strong smoked light spicy nose. The taste is also strong smoked ham, light hoppy and watery but in general quite unbalanced beer. Good try, but it still needs time to improve the recipe, to make it better.
