Keg draught at the brewery tap, Brockley. Deep golden orange, mostly clear with a tiny film of off-whote head. Malty aroma, some citrus fruit, iced tea. Bittersweet taste, big chewy malt with intense fruity hop character. Nothing subtle about this. Finish is surprisingly bitter with orange oil and kumquat peel. Light to medium body, carbonation on the low side. Intense, and maybe a bit messy, but worth trying all the same.

From tap on Steam Down Wednesday at Matchstick Piehouse, Deptford, 06.07.22. Dark golden. Some white head. Aroma and taste of pale malt, crystal malt, syrup, grains, pine and various bitter citrus. Well-balanced and fairly complex. The beer was served rather cold, and the taste improved as it was warming up.

Keg at the new Brockley Brewery Taproom, Chiltonian Industrial Estate, Lee. Gold pour with a white head. Sweet fruit and spice nose. Vanilla and sweet malt taste. Reminds me of the original Youngs Ordinary.
