English Pale malts coupled with Challenger and Goldings hops provide the bitterness and aroma. The result is a highly distinctive light, golden ale, with caramel aromas, a pleasing toffee apple flavour and a late bitterness.

Golden color. Light aroma of malt. Thin malt taste, just to support the very strong bitterness, quite dry, with some subtilities. Good for the thirst.

500ml bottle (bb.19.08.07) picked up at Jerusalem Tavern. Attractive dark green bottle. Dark golden in colour with nice clarity and a medium soapy head. Malty aroma with a fruity component. Flavour is moderate hoppy supported by some grainy notes. Slightly bitter aftertaste (19.09.2006).

Bottled (BB 03/2007). Dark honey golden color, small white head. A touch of honey in the malty aroma. Malty with bitter hoppyness. In the aftertaste nice long hoppy taste. Name is misleading, not a "Golden" or "Blond" ale.

(Bottle at Haket in Gothenburg) Clear deep golden color, small white head. Very sweet corn syrup scent, they must use corn to make it this bad... A bit watery mouth feel. Bitter taste, not much else.

Bottle, Dad said that he had picked it up at Majestic in a St Peters selection box of 12. Warm golden colour, nice hoppy and floral aroma, pleasant bitterness and good refreshing beer though not wonderful.
