Miscellanea Vol 3.5 is a small batch blend of our collaborative American Wild Ale taken from its resident Barolo foedre and double barrel aged in a handful of 4 year Willett bourbon barrels. Its additional time spent in finishing barrels adds top notes of white oak, bourbon kissed oatmeal cookies, yellow peach, and mellow, burnt sugar sweetness to the papaya, black cherry, and nectarine/lime like acidity of the foedre fermented wild ale. A dash of dapper Kentucky bravado on top of an already fantastically complex beer.

Bottle shared by Levi, thanks! Pours a clear dirty amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sour lemon with a good amount of oak and a touch of bourbon underlying. Flavor has sour lemon and earthy fruits with a bit of oaky bourbon backing.

Bottle, at the brewery. Cloudy golden with small white head. Fruity, barrel, some bourbon, funk, light caramel notes. Medium+ sourness. Medium bodied.
