Bottle at NK Bar. Deep golden colour with no head. No carbonation. Strong pear aroma, like concentrated juice. Flavour is concentrated pear juice, a bit Sauternes like, late harvest pears. Really good and well suited as a dessert drink.

500 ml clear corked and elegant bottle with silver foil top, from Vinmonopolet (bestillingsutvalget) - at an outrageous price. ABV is 7.0%. This is a still ice perry, no carbonation whatsoever. Deep golden colour. Strong aroma of concentrated pear juice, a hint of oak and sulphites. Intense, well: EXTREME concentrated and sweet flavour of pear juice. Some oaky notes, and a noticeable bitterness in the finish. Impressive stuff - an exclusive ice perry to accompany desserts, nuts or blue cheeses, or to be savoured on its own.
