Cask at Bird in Hand, Stafford. Pours a pale straw with a small white head and good lacing. The aroma is sweet with lemons and a hint of malts. In the mouth, it’s sweet and creamy – but almost totally devoid of flavour ! There’s some hints of grapefruit and gooseberries but very little else. Finish does have some yucky citrus. Not a bad beer – but oh so BLAND !

Cask-conditioned at the Watershed, Bristol 15/3/2022. Pale gold in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. A light, easy drinking, pale ale, with some sweetish malts, hay, a touch of citrus fruit and moderately bitter finish. Good.
