This one is our take on a classic German Hefeweizen. Helles-Weizen is brewed exactly like a hefeweizen, but we krausened it with our House Lager. This unique process entailed introducing lager yeast at the end of the fermentation process, as opposed to the beginning- we hope that this beer showcases a more innovative definition of the term “lager.” The result is a crisp, sweet, and slightly spiced beer with notes of banana and clove.

Draft at the brewpub. Cloudy yellow and foamy head. Nose is spicy cloves and banana and n sour wheat mash. Tastes of some same sourness, banana, cloves, and other spices kinda like a spiced mead but can’t put finger on what old world Nordic spices forgotten by time perhaps? Creamy palate. Spicy finish.
