Reviewed from notes.
Can to mug.
Appearance: brown in color with a sly transparency ever so lightly around the edges with a one finger's white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: rich nutty sweet tones, delicate dark fruits further underneath, nice level dose of caramel/toffee malts
Flavor: a very nice blend of the prior noted aromas with a nice finish of the nuts a little bit toasted
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; very smooth along the tongue
Overall: seemed like a good O-fest, maybe closer to the Marzen style I believe.
