Taster poured from a big bottle. Thanks to fonefan at the ratebeer meetingpoint, ØK 13. Hazy, orange-gold body. Smell of apricot and pumpkin. Likewise, the taste profile is made up by sweet fruits, dusty hops and mid-sweet malts. More sweet than bitter to the finish. Smooth and well bodied, mostly hidden alcohol. A decent one, without being too impressive (Copenhagen, 24.05.2013).

Sample from bottle (unknown donator). Cloudy golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of orange marmalade and crystal malts, not as "fresh" as I hoped for. Hoppy flavour, medium sweet, not extreme for a double IPA, lacks freshness.

Bottle thanks to Perrin515. Pours cloudy golden orange with white head. Nose is grapefruit rind, tropical fruit, orange rind, citrus rind and caramel malt. Taste is same with lots of sweet citrus. Good caramel malt backbone. Medium body. Nice beer.

On tap at Falling Rock. It pours a slightly hazy light copper-y gold with near white head of foam. The aroma is big with grapefruit, orange juice, orange peel, some grassiness, pine and a bit of cherry hard candy sweetness. Between some of these notes are snippets of resiny hop bitterness. The taste is pretty rich and vibrant with a mix of malt sweetened tangelo and grapefruit citrus hoppiness moving into a mango tropical fruit note approaching midway. It then picks up resiny pine sap like notes amid the citrusy goodness. Darn tasty rich IIPA that doesn’t push the limits of the style (which, to me, pushing the limits defines the style).

Sample @ Stockholm Beer & Whisky 2012. Pours tiny hazy amberish golden with a small creamy goldenish white head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sweet and malty with old bread, lemon zest, wood, orange zest, apricots, overripe grapes, moist soil and hints of silage, pine and alcohol. Taste is sweet and malty with old bread, peaches, green peas, apricots, moist wood, silage, cereal, moist soil, pine, pineapple and hints of alcohol. Mouthfeel is smooth, round, tiny watery and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with graoefruit juice, orange zest, pine, old bread, lemon zest and alcohol. Not fond of this at all.
